Helen Flanagan has opened up about her struggles being a mum of three kids while co-parenting with ex Scott Sinclair.

The pair were together for 13 years until they split last October.

The Corrie star and Bristol Rovers footballer have three gorgeous kids together – Matilda Jessica Sinclair (7), Delilah Ruby Sinclair (4) and Charlie Scott Sinclair (1).

Although they ended up splitting for good in October 2022, they both tried really hard to make their relationship work but after a rough summer last year, they decided to call it quits.

A source close to the couple told The Sun that when Helen’s engagement ring snapped, she believed it was a “bad omen”.

Neither Helen or Scott directly address their separation but Helen has captioned some photos alluding to it.

The most recent being for this year’s International Women’s Day where she wrote: “Happy International Women’s Day.

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

Now Helen and Scott are committed to “co-parenting their kids as a family unit.”

Recently, she answered some questions that her followers had relating to her family and kids.

One fan asked: “How do you find having three kids?”

Helen replied very honestly and said: “I find being a mum hard. I feel tired most of the time and like I have to split myself into three, but just love them so much so would never change it for the world and just give them all I’ve got every day.”

Back in November, Helen shared a story with followers about an encounter she had with someone who made her feel judged for being a mum.

She said: “I’m quite good I think at controlling my emotions, I’m quite busy, but I always have emotional outbursts when I’m due one.

“This is like a long story short… I was really annoyed last week because, I won’t go into too much detail, but basically I hate it when mums are made to feel uncomfortable.

“I didn’t have Matilda young but youngish, and I’ve always gone everywhere with my kids – like flown with them, trains, hotels and I’ve just literally always gone where I want to go.

“I just don’t like it when you get people who basically are being rubbish towards you because you’ve got kids and you’re a mum, basically giving you the evils.”

Unfortunately, so many mums go through the same thing so it’s great to hear Helen sharing her parenting struggles with the world.

Her fans seem to be so supportive of Helen and her family with many telling her to “stay strong” and to “be proud of yourself.”

They’re beyond encouraging and always comment sweet things under her posts, which is actually the nicest thing ever.
