This guy’s advice for other dads on pregnant women is priceless

'Give her false compliments.'

“I hope no dads are harmed while showing their pregnant other halves this.”

Dads-to-be can feel a bit helpless during pregnancy.

Standing on the sidelines while the woman he loves swells like a balloon and becomes just a progressively crankier over nine months is a bewildering experience for any man, which is why they might benefit from this helpful video.

Jordan Watson of Youtube channel How To Dad has put together his best tips for dads-to-be in ‘How to support her though pregnancy’.

As a father of two with a third on the way, he’s amassed a fair bit of experience with pregnancy and so is well-placed to share some advice.

Among his nuggets of wisdom are ‘choose her maternity clothes’, ‘baby-proof the house’, ‘grow a pot belly by eating twice as much as she does’ and ‘give her false compliments’.

Jason, from Auckland in New Zealand, is a favourite in the world of online parenting vloggers.

He only started making videos in January of last year but already has a solid fanbase with 163,000 subscribers on Youtube and 1.45 million Facebook followers.

“I didn’t really know what would come from it, was just taking the p*ss, in a sense, and having a bit of fun, there are so many serious parenting blogs and vlogs and it was a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun,” he told Stuff.

Father to Mila and Alba, aged two and four, he announced that he and his partner are expecting baby number three earlier this year.
